Group Operations Manager - Resorts

We partner with resort owners and management rights holders to deliver world-class cleaning services, allowing them to focus on their core business. We service 9 resorts, manage over 200 short-term rental properties and operate our own commercial laundry. Put simply: We are on an aggressive growth path and have full control of the key components.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Operations Manager - Resorts to take charge of the operation of our growing management rights resort portfolio, currently encompassing over 200 rooms across 9 resorts, with several more in the pipeline. This is a new & pivotal role for Moxy, with a direct mission to create a world-class operation focused on quality, reliability, and efficiency.
You will be instrumental in shaping our service delivery, ensuring every guest experience is exceptional, and optimising our operational processes for sustained growth. This is more than just a management role; it's an opportunity to drive and own a strategic initiative and make a significant impact on our success and the satisfaction of our partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of dedicated housekeeping professionals across multiple resort locations.
Create, implement and document effective procedures for the onboarding and ongoing operation - processes that can scale with our growth.
Develop and implement operational strategies and best practices to achieve world-class standards in quality, reliability, and efficiency.
Oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations, including coaching team leaders, training, quality control, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with resort management and key stakeholders.
Monitor performance metrics, analyse data, and report on operational effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Contribute to the strategic planning and expansion of Moxy's resort portfolio.
ABOUT YOU:
A proven hotel housekeeping professional at a management level (e.g., Executive Housekeeper, Rooms Division Manager with a strong housekeeping background).
Demonstrated business and operations acumen, with an understanding of financial management and resource optimisation.
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
Strong organisational skills and an acute attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with staff, clients, and partners.
Proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Must hold a valid Australian driver's license and have access to reliable transportation.
